Increasing Diversity in Innovation – Capturing America’s Lost Inventors — Virtual Conference July 26-29

Findings by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and leading researchers show that women, people of color, and veterans are significantly underrepresented as US patent inventors. All of the data indicates that the US has missed out on millions of inventors, impacting national innovation and economic growth.

On July 26-29, the US Intellectual Property Alliance and UC Berkeley will host a virtual conference bringing together the USPTO, corporate legal teams, innovators, industry associations, and key stakeholders across the country to focus on increasing engagement of underrepresented inventors.
