Manager, Platform Development @Avanci

The Manager, Platform Development is responsible for global Licensor support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with global technology companies for Avanci licensing platforms.
  • Plan and execute strategies for efficient management of the various Avanci patent licensing programs.
  • Collaborate with Avanci’s global team to expand existing patent licensing programs and build new patent licensing programs for the IoT.
  • Understand and communicate elements of Avanci’s licensing platforms, standard essential patent licensing, and technology value proposition to potential participants in the platforms.
  • Develop financial models and negotiations strategies to create options for aligning potential participant expectations with Avanci’s licensing platform goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with licensing and other legal professionals internally and externally to develop structures and opportunities to enhance participation in the Avanci platforms.

Patent Evaluation Manager @Avanci

The Patent Evaluation Manager will serve a key role in the royalty management process of Avanci Cellular platforms.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact for existing and potential licensors in Avanci licensing platforms regarding patent matters.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance by external partners with same.
  • Maintain, update, and search patent databases.
  • Work as a team with legal, accounting and technical professionals across the world.
  • Communicate with external patent evaluators regarding patent essentiality evaluations.

This panel will explore formal and tacit knowledge in technology transfer, manufacturing, and industry 4.0. In a period of increasing trade barriers, can technology transfer benefit both sending and recipient nations?   • Has a Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably in a relevant technical field
  • Has at least 2 years of experience working with patents, preferably in the industry or at PRV (Swedish Patent and Registration Office)
  • Is fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English as both languages are used in the daily work
