The program will be taught in English emphasizing an international perspective.

CIP is very happy to welcome Billy Jörgensen, Elin Enehed, Philip Idestrom, Emanuel S, Simon Fouladi to the TechLaw Faculty. The initial sessions will center the practical techlaw issues for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Services, Disruptive Technology Ventures, Biotech & Pharma, and emerging LegalTech Ventures. More information on the program sessions will follow shortly.

Another great BIP program completed

CIP has now completed the Business of Intellectual Property (BIP) Executive Education Program for 2024. We had a wonderful diverse group of 33 participants from over 15 firms. A big thanks to our faculty, Ruud Peters, Bowman Heiden, Maaike van Velzen, and Roberto Castagno for delivering another great program. More information on BIP 2025 schedule will be published soon. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Ruud Peters shines in first module of BIP Executive Education

CIP recently welcomed 33 participants from a diverse group of technology firms to its Business of Intellectual Property Executive Education in Gothenburg. The first module, which is focused on building an IP value mindset, was led by Ruud Peters, who is the co-faculty director of the program together with Bowman Heiden. At CIP, we regard Ruud as the G.O.A.T of value-driven IP management given his enormously successful track record building the IP & Standards organization at Philips and launching many entrepreneurially IP-related ventures during his tenure. Here, in the picture, Ruud is sharing his wisdom with his classic tough-love approach. The second module will be in October, where the participants will present their home company assignment and broaden their thinking of IP from a strategic business management starting point. More to come!

ICM Alumni Event in Gothenburg

Big thanks to Lisa Rythén Larsson and Vink for hosting yesterday’s ICM Alumni Event in Gothenburg. The event included an interesting panel discussion on “AI Strategy—How will AI affect our business and industry in the upcoming years?” featuring views from our alumni working in different industries, including Therese Werner from Konsert, Hagberg, Jesper from AssaAbloy, and Anna Ajodan from Volvo Group.

It was wonderful to hear about the diversity of innovation activities our alumni are engaged in across many areas of technology, business, and law. The next event is proposed for Stockholm in the fall. Please contact us if you would like to host the event!
