Executive Education

In the past, companies mainly managed physical assets. This is no longer the case. Today, competitive advantage arises mostly from a company’s ability to control and manage its intellectual assets.
For companies competing in an increasingly knowledge-based economy, understanding the strategic and commercial aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) has become a critical factor in both creating and capturing business value as well as building strong market positions. This is particularly true as companies embrace open innovation, digitalization, and new AI-enabled business solutions. This means that IP managers need to think like business strategists. This is the goal of this unique program.
The program is backed by the Center for Intellectual Property (CIP), delivered by leading academic and industry faculty with experience from both SMEs and multinational corporations. We have chosen to concentrate on the strategic technology and business management aspects of IP, rather than legal detail, as the value of IP must be communicated in the language of corporate leadership.
