Open-Source Strategy Program Manager @Google
The Program Development team oversees Google’s strategic interests in open-source projects we care about. We create and support healthy open-source projects through governance, relationship-building, and ensuring an excellent contributor experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a Google open-source project portfolio, helping to evolve policies and practices, tools and playbooks, and documenting best practices
- Understand significant components of the ecosystem and identify gaps or opportunities to create or participate in strategically important communities
- Work closely with the project contributors to enable close relationships between external and internal developers
- Build and maintain numerous internal technology partnerships across Google and contribute to relevant content and messaging efforts
