Globalization

The goal is to provide (1) A deeper understanding of the current research and practical consequences of diversity and inclusion challenges in technology-intensive sectors: (2) New opportunities for firms to engage in collaboration and best-practice programs to proactively improve diversity and inclusion activities.
Sustainability:

The goal is to provide (1) A deeper understanding of the potential industrial and societal impact of the mounting sustainability challenges; (2) Knowledge of new business and IP strategies emerging to implement corporate and government sustainability goals (e.g. zero carbon); (3) Insights about how to square the role of IP in fostering and sharing innovation with growing policy positions that IP blocks innovation and global sustainability solutions (e.g. as was experienced recently with the COVID patent waiver).
